Five-bedroom holiday-home villa on Palm Jumeirah, Dubai
One of Dubai's largest landlords brought us two newly completed five-bedroom villas on Palm Jumeirah, each with more than 5,000 square feet of built-up area, to convert into short-term holiday homes. The challenge was to furnish and style both within one month so the client could capture the peak winter season.
Villa I opens with a gallery-style entrance hall: a large abstract canvas above a textured plaster console, a glass-balustrade staircase, and a long sightline through to the living room and pool. Bright living and dining areas were planned to blur the line between indoors and the terrace overlooking the private beach.
Light natural colours in the upholstery create a relaxed, resort-style atmosphere for holiday guests. Custom headboards give the bedrooms a quiet elegance and practical durability, while artwork, including Hermès scarves reframed as art, adds colour and a sense of luxury throughout.
